Marrakesh is the second largest city in Morocco and it is the city of entertainment. The centre of Marrakech is a lively square, which is where all the entertainment happens. There are acrobats, drummers, dancers, musicians, comedians and storytellers. There are small alleys and squares which are dedicated to specific crafts. Sometimes you can watch them in the process of making the crafts. The most appealing time to visit these areas, known as souks, is early in the morning and late afternoon. With summers being so hot the perfect place to relax and do nothing is in the gardens, where there are many picnic spots, lake-sized pools and cool and quiet surroundings.
