The resort’s impressive 710-room capacity, along with its wide selection of leisure facilities and entertainment options, makes it well-suited to families, couples, and groups seeking a full-service holiday destination. With uninterrupted views of the Aegean Sea and a strong emphasis on convenience, it delivers a comprehensive package for guests seeking a well-equipped and modern beachfront hotel.

Location

The resort lies just a few steps from Ixia’s mixed pebble and sand beach and is located along the Ialyssos coastal avenue. Guests benefit from easy access to key local attractions, including the Medieval City of Rhodes Town, which is only a five-minute drive (4 km) away. The international airport is reachable in around fifteen minutes by car (12 km), and the local general hospital is also just 4 km away. Its strategic location ensures proximity to both natural and historical sites, offering easy excursions as well as local conveniences.

Facilities

The hotel features two large freshwater swimming pools, including a main pool measuring 42 by 18 metres and a smaller snail-shaped pool with dimensions of 21 by 17 metres. The “lazy river” style pool spans 30 metres and feeds directly into the main pool, providing a relaxed flow-through experience. Families with children can take advantage of a dedicated pool designed with younger swimmers in mind. A private underground passage offers direct access from the pool area to the beach. Guests also have access to free loungers and parasols at both the pool and beach areas. The hotel grounds include extensive gardens and shaded palm trees, adding to the resort’s large-scale design.

Room

Akti Imperial offers a wide range of accommodation types to suit different guest needs. The majority of rooms—around 75%—feature either full or partial sea views. Standard Twin/Double Rooms can accommodate up to three guests and are offered with mountain, side sea, or front sea views. These rooms, located on the 1st through 8th floors, measure 25 square metres and include either a double bed or twin beds along with a sofa bed. Rooms classified as Panoramic Twin/Double have direct sea views, while economy and promotional rooms offer no view and overlook the conference centre or parking areas.

Suites are situated on the 9th floor or in the annex building. The One-Bedroom Suites in the main building offer 41 square metres of space and include a separate lounge area. Family Suites in the annex provide even more room at 50 square metres and can accommodate up to five guests across two separate living areas. All rooms include modern amenities such as air conditioning, heating, high-speed Wi-Fi, a 43” satellite TV, minibar with daily refills, safe, balcony, and bathroom with toiletries, slippers, hairdryer, and a scale.

The resort offers a wide variety of sports activities on land and water. There are two tennis courts with complimentary lessons provided three times a week, along with facilities for basketball, pétanque, table tennis, darts, and archery. Guests may also join a series of fitness programmes led by trained instructors, including yoga, pilates, aerobics, and organised coastal walks. The on-site gym is fully equipped and includes a sauna.

The Spa & Wellness Centre, managed by a third-party company, covers 1,200 square metres and features saunas, steam and Greco-Roman baths, massage rooms, and a heated indoor pool. Beauty treatments and a hair salon are also available. Watersports are operated by Rhodes Waves and include jet biking, windsurfing, paddle boarding, and canoeing, with a 20% discount available for hotel guests.
