When you first arrive at this 5 star hotel, you can’t help but notice its giant lagoon style pool. Sprawling across the resort with an infinity edge, this roomy option offers plenty of swimming space. Or, if you prefer the beach, you’ve got a private section of the Red Sea waiting for you.

Found in Sahl Hasheesh Bay, just south of Hurghada City, you’re in a prime spot for snorkelling and diving experiences. If you’re not impressed by its palace-like exterior, then its pristine palm-lined lawns and ornamental shrubs are bound to capture your attention.

From swim-up rooms to sea view suites

Just like the rest of the hotel, all of its 644 rooms and suites have a deluxe feel with a few authentic touches thrown in such as dark wood furnishings and arched walls. Breaking the traditional mould, you’ll also find a bunch of modern amenities from satellite TV to a safety deposit box and air conditioning alongside tea and coffee making facilities.

Everyone is catered for too with spacious family options featuring two sofa beds and fancy swim-up stays perfect for couples seeking secluded dips. You can also opt for a Club Double Room, where you’ll be treated to a host of additional perks such as access to an exclusive lounge, nightly turndown service and complementary use of the hotel’s sauna, steam room and whirlpool bath.

An All Inclusive dream

With eight restaurants dishing out a variety of cuisine alongside seven bars, you’ve got infinite options when it comes to indulging. 

Red Sea Restaurant: Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, this is the hotel’s main buffet spot where you’ll find a range of cuisine. Meat dishes, fish options, burgers and pasta are among the many hot and cold stations found here.

Egyptian restaurant: If you’re looking for authentic fare, then this is the spot with its delicious mixed grills. This eatery is open from 7pm to 11pm, but often extends its opening hours to cater to late arrivals. 

Chillitos Mexican restaurant: Serving a range of Mexican favourites, it’s a great choice for spicy options, while the beef tenderloin melts in your mouth. You can head here from 7pm to 11pm. 

Ying & Yang Asian restaurant: This dinner-only eatery is known for its mouth-watering oriental options, make sure you try the onion bhajis – they’re delicious!

Niche Bar: Serving cold Strawberry Daiquiris with jazz music playing in the background, Niche Bar is a sophisticated spot perfect for low-key drinks. Plus, its late-closing time of 2am is another highlight.

La Salsa Bar: With a laid-back vibe, head here for casual drinks alongside sports coverage, not to mention it comes equipped with a dartboard and pool table when you’re feeling competitive.  Drinks are served from 7pm until midnight.

Infinity pool bar and lounge: This is a great choice for informal lunches close to the pool area with plenty of light bites to keep those hunger pains at bay during long sunbathing sessions. Open from 10am to midnight.

Palace Lobby Lounge: This is the only spot which is open for 24 hours.

Baron Club lounge: You can only visit this exclusive venue if you’re staying in a Club room.

Adults-only zones alongside kid’s facilities

There’s no end to the entertainment options when you come to this all-singing, all-dancing complex. Days in the sun are best spent relaxing around its four swimming pools, the main area comes with an infinity edge and spans across the hotel’s stunning grounds, while the kid’s section features tipping buckets and mini slides. Adults looking for child-free sunbathing can also opt for the relaxation pool, where little ones are forbidden. 

There’s so much going on here for small guests such as cinema rooms and an indoor activity space when they want to escape the heat. Or, you can always take advantage of the hotel’s fantastic set of kids’ clubs with babies, toddlers, juniors and teens all catered for.

But don’t worry, there’s plenty of grown-up fun to be had as well with a spa offering hot stone massages and a mud bath chamber. Activity-wise, when you’re not stretching out at a yoga class, you could be hitting the jogging track for some morning cardio or getting involved in a game of beach volleyball.

There’s something exciting about knowing your situated inches away from the Red Sea. Overlooking a section of white sand with plenty of opportunities to put on your snorkelling gear and discover what’s lying in those world-famous waters, no two days are the same here.

Away from your beachfront setting, you’ll be happy to know you’re not far from Hurghada City where you’ll find a swanky marina packed with bars and restaurants. If you would rather explore the country’s traditional side, you’re also close to the Old Town (El Dahar) whose original fishing day charm hasn’t been lost.
