The Golden Clube Cabanas is a family resort located in the Eastern Algarve, 36 Km East of Faro (30 mins drive to the Airport). Golden Clube Resort lies at the heart of the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve, 6 Kms East of the beautiful city of Tavira, and by the typical village of Cabanas – a short walk (300m) takes you to the center of Cabanas with its shops , bars and restaurants. The Ria Formosa Nature Reserve , 60 Kms of beautiful coastline, may be explored on foot or on bicycle, and  offers opportunities for bird watching , canoeing and great boat family trips. There are 6 – 18 hole golf courses nearby. Set in  beautiful gardens and comprising a number of 3 storey   whitewashed buildings , the Golden Clube Cabanas Resort at the Ria Formosa Nature Reserve is a delightful family holiday resort.

Local Tips: Explore Tavira , accessible on foot,  bike or bus, known as  the Venice of the Algarve, with its 30 Churches, the Roman bridge, the Islamic museum  and the medieval castle. Take a train to Faro, the Capital of the Algarve, a beautiful train ride along the coast (40mins) . Excursions to Lisbon and to Seville available.

Please note : Note that our Piscina Lago (Lake Pool), will be closed between 06/11/2023 and 08/03/2024 for maintenance works. As alternative, guests can use the Piscina Pequena (Small Pool, outdoor), and the Piscina Interior (Indoor Pool), which will remain open
