Grand Joanne is located in a magnificently beautiful, newly restored 1800s building in the heart of Copenhagen. The building has been a hotel for over 100 years, first opening its doors as a hotel on Vesterbrogade 9A in the year 1928.
After years of renovation by the new owners Grand Joanne re-opened with a new look and a new name in April 2023. Our mission: creating a lifestyle hotel that feels innovative and personal with a specific character of its own.
We aspire to be a house for travellers and locals alike. For those who want to live, eat, drink, exercise and socialise in the home of a well-travelled and warm-hearted soul. Kindness transcends the entire house and circulates from Grand Joanne into Vesterbro.
