Restaurants & Bars
Offering guests a wonderful culinary experience, the Melia Madeira Mare offers two excellent restaurants and two bars. Using a selection of the freshest market products and based on an international cuisine that combines local recipes with creative cooking technique.

The ‘Buffet Mare Nostrum Restaurant’ is located next to the hotel pool with a spectacular outdoor terrace. Serving a wonderful buffet with live cooking and a wide range of dishes, the restaurant is an excellent location for all of your meals. Please note that during the summer the restaurant serves a dinner buffet and during the winter it serves a dinner buffet or a la carte service (depending on hotel occupancy). Another option for dinner is the the ‘Il Massimo Restaurant’ which is located near to the Children’s pool. Serving delicious cuisine from a creative menu, you will be able to enjoy starters, salads, soups, fish and met dishes as well as local specialities.

The ‘Ilheu Restaurant Bar’ is located next to the main pool, and is ideal for those informal lunches (open between 12pm to 3pm). Choose from pizzas, rolls, hamburgers, salads, sandwiches, meat and fish dishes, deserts and a great choice of drinks and ice-creams. In the summer, the bar will host a Barbecue which you will love. The ‘La Luna Bar’ is located near the hotel lobby and offers a wide range of drinks. With an outdoor terrace with spectacular views, you can enjoy a range of cocktails, coffee or your favourite long drinks in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.

An outdoor pool is open between 8am to 8pm and offers incredible Ocean Views.
