The Hotel Tichka is a 130-rooms and 8 suites. hotel that was greeted with delight when it opened in 1986 for its tongue-in-cheek take of traditional Moroccan architecture. The high atrium reception area is lovely, while the decoration in the two restaurants – stunning palm trees columns in the international one . blue and yellow striped columns in the Moroccan – is striking. There is a gorgeous bar in deep red with a beaten-copper ceiling, and the hotel also boasts one of the best pools in town, set in a well tended garden with lawns and terrace where a buffet lunch and dinner are served (weather permitting). The Tichka also has a hammam with massage and scrab treatments. There is a newsstand / boutique at the entrance to the hotel.
