Labranda Royal Makadi is a real head-turner. Draped in elegant interiors with an emphasis on natural lighting and a prime spot on the desirable Makadi Bay, everything about its look and feel screams 5 stars. In terms of splashes, you have three pools to choose from one for kids and the other for adults seeking relaxation, as well as a heated number.

Its grounds are huge with manicured lawns, which are beautifully lit on a night while tall tropical palms lead you towards the Red Sea. The hotel also has a fantastic All Inclusive concept with all-day dining in the main restaurant and a promenade lined with delicious speciality options. Days are filled with activities whether you head for the sand to try out the many watersports on offer or make use of the onsite tennis courts.

An assortment of deluxe rooms

With a total of 505 rooms spread across three floors, get ready to relax in pure comfort with the smallest accommodation measuring 24 square metres. Fairly traditional in their appearance, the colour combination of dark wood furnishings, terracotta floors and neutral walls helps create a soothing ambiance – just what you need on holiday.

From family-sized accommodation to standard stays and beachfront bungalows – every guest is catered for. All rooms come with the necessities including a twin or king size bed, air conditioning, in-room Wi-Fi, a safety deposit box and private balcony or terrace. If you want to bag the best view in the house, we suggest you opt for a bungalow. Placed directly on the beach with a private terrace gazing onto the Red Sea, wake up to the sound of gentle waves lapping against the rocks.

Fancy food and drink offerings

Forget your run-of-the-mill All Inclusive offerings, Labranda Royal Makadi knows how to spoil its guests. The main restaurant is delectable with themed nights providing ever-changing options, while the beachside eatery and Italian establishment are another highlight. Not forgetting Makadi promenade, which is home to a host of  speciality venues. As for staying hydrated, you’ve got four bars serving a range of soft and alcoholic drinks from morning until night.

Visit here from 7pm – 10:30pm.

Taverna Paros: Fancy some Greek fare during your time in Egypt? Then this speciality restaurant found along the promenade is just the spot. Serving meze dishes alongside the country’s favourite tipple Ouzo, you won’t be disappointed. This tasty venue opens its doors at 7pm and closes at 10pm.

Golden Sun: Found in the hotel’s lobby and operating 24 hours, head here on an evening for glasses of the local wine and fruity cocktails or visit during the day and take advantage of its light bites from small pastries to mini sandwiches.

Tropicana: Centrally located by the pool, hop out of the water and treat yourself to an All Inclusive cocktail, cold beer or some fizzy pop. This handy bar operates from 10am – 4pm.

Terrace Bar: Sitting in front of the main building, when you’re not taking advantage of its wide selection of drinks, you’ll likely be enjoying its entertainment offerings. Open from 7pm – 11pm.

Beach Bar: Not only does this venue come with a great choice of drinks, but it also offers sensational sea views – perfect for unwinding on those warm Egyptian nights.
