Maria Rousse is a family run hotel operating under the motto “Holidays are precious moments of relaxation for our customers”. For this reason it is built in a quiet area of Malia and the complex is full of exotic trees and flowers.

It consists of two separate accommodations in the same area. First accommodation called Maria Rousse Hotel and the second Maria Rousse. They share the same facilities, reception, pools, snack bars, parking etc.

It is a good choice for families, couples, lonely people and companies of friends. The hotel is also suitable for people with mobility problems as all its public areas (Swimming pools, Bar, Restaurant, Reception) and many of the rooms are accessible for people with mobility problems.

Maria Rousse is five minutes walking distance from the old village which is waiting to be discovered with its traditional taverns. It is fifteen minutes walking distance from the golden beaches of Malia which have clear waters, are certified by EOT and have blue flag. Next to Maria Rousse there are banks, the post office, supermarkets, the taxi station and bus stops to Agios Nikolaos and Heraklion.

Standard Studios up to 2 persons (Approximately 20 square meters) They can accommodate up to two adult persons with two single beds. A shower W.C room, well equipped kitchenette corner with dining table and chairs and a good size furnished balcony or terrace are the facilities of the studios, not to mention, self catering equipment such as electric cooking rings, kettle, toaster, refrigerator, cutlery, crockery and glassware are available. Facilities include hair dryer, iron and iron board (upon request)​, satellite tv are available in this room type.

Standard Studios up to 3 persons (Approximately 25 square meters) They can accommodate up to three adult persons with three single beds. A shower W.C room, well equipped kitchenette corner with dining table and chairs and a good size furnished balcony or terrace are the facilities of the studios, not to mention, self catering equipment such as electric cooking rings, kettle, toaster, refrigerator, cutlery, crockery and glassware are available. Facilities include hair dryer, iron and iron board (upon request), satellite tv are available in all standard studios.

Directions to the hotel: Arriving in Heraklion International Airport or Port, take east direction towards Agios Nikolaos by using the main road (VOAK E75). After about 25 Km you will be reaching a short tunnel. 3 Km after passing through that tunnel you will end up at a roundabout. A label with the option “Malia” will be visible on your left side. Please follow this way by entering this (left) exit on the roundabout. This road will get you driving downhill towards the sea. After 1.5 Km you will reach a crossroad with traffic lights. Take the route on your right towards Agios Nikolaos. After about 3 Km you will see on your right side with the sign that you are entering “Malia”. Keep driving for about 300m where you see a Gas Station and a school on your right. Be careful on this spot, because you have to turn left there. Now you are driving on “Ilarionos Katsouli street”. Keep driving for about 200 m where you will see Maria Rousse Hotel entrance on your left hand side.
