Minos Imperial Luxury Beach Resort & Spa Milatos is presented as a seafront resort in Crete offering a range of accommodation and services suitable for families and couples, with private sandy beaches, multiple pool areas and a comprehensive food and beverage programme. Location

The resort is positioned in north Crete with convenient access to the island’s main attractions and transport links; Heraklion and its archaeological museum, the Palace of Knossos and onward ferry or air connections to islands such as Santorini and Mykonos are readily reachable, and the Creta Aquarium lies approximately 25 kilometres away. The Crete Golf Club is located nearby for guests wishing to play 18 holes, while family excursions to Watercity and Aqua Plus waterparks are also possible, and the hotel’s reservations team can assist with private transfers, car hire and sightseeing arrangements.

Facilities

Guest facilities at the resort cover a broad range of services and conveniences including two private sandy beaches, five swimming pools, adult and children’s water slides, a lazy river pool, outdoor whirlpool and Jacuzzi, and complimentary sunbeds, beach towels, deckchairs and umbrellas around pool and beach areas. The property offers a Technogym fitness room, a boutique spa, a meeting room (Blu Hall) measuring 17m by 16.5m with a 4m ceiling and an on-site shopping arcade with a supermarket, souvenir and clothing boutiques; complimentary fast Wi-Fi, 24-hour parking and in-room coffee and tea facilities are provided, and a safe deposit box and luxury bathroom amenities (including slippers and bathrobes) are supplied in every room.

Room

Accommodation is arranged into two design groups: one collection draws on Cretan, Minoan colour schemes and traditional detailing with spacious bathrooms and large verandas, while the White Sensation Collection, designed by WATG, favours a Cycladic white aesthetic with full-length windows and contemporary furnishings. All room types feature modern bedding with layered mattress options, a selection of pillows, in-room coffee and tea facilities, complimentary safe deposit boxes and a separate high-speed Wi-Fi line for each unit; many rooms provide garden and sea views from balconies or verandas.

Sports & Entertainment

Daily daytime activities are scheduled throughout the season and the resort runs a Joyland kids programme for children aged 4–12, while water-based play and pools for younger guests are provided alongside adults’ water slides and a separate adults pool with its own chill-out bar. The Technogym fitness room is available for guest use in specified hours, and a range of sport and wellness activities operate across the season with advance reservation required to ensure places; the resort also offers organised excursions, private photoshoots and helicopter services as optional extras.

Dining & Bars

Dining options include a large central buffet at Mosaic Brasserie serving breakfast, lunch and dinner with live cooking stations, an omelette and egg station at breakfast and vegetarian and vegan choices at lunch; Ariadni Taste of Crete operates as a signature outlet offering Cretan specialities and recommends local grape varieties such as Vilana, Kotsifali and Mandilari. The hotel also provides a poolside Italian Deli, a Bellevue fine-dining terrace overlooking the Aegean (noted as under renovation during 2025), themed a la carte venues including Arabic, Asian and pescetarian options, an On the Rocks BBQ and a New York style burger and bar by the pools, while a selection of bars from the Veranda lobby lounge to several pool and beach bars serve drinks and light lunch menus with room service available between 08:00 and 23:00 for an additional charge.
