Overview

Myconian Avaton is a luxury hotel in Mykonos, Greece, set on the hillside above Elia Beach on the island’s south coast. The property takes its name from the ancient Greek sanctuaries once reserved exclusively for the chosen and initiated, reflecting the exclusive character of the hotel. Cycladic architecture is combined with contemporary design throughout the property, with signature red accents set against the surrounding sea and mountain views. The hotel forms part of the Myconian Collection, a group with more than 45 years of hospitality experience on the island, founded by George Daktylides.

Dining & Bars

Dining at Myconian Avaton is overseen by Executive Chef George Bakopoulos, whose menus draw on Greek and Mediterranean culinary traditions, with influences from the island’s Italian heritage. Panorama, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, serves Mediterranean and Italian-inspired dishes, while Kokkino, the poolside bar, offers drinks and light bites by the infinity pool. The hotel maintains its own vegetable gardens for organic produce and herbs, sources fleur de sel salt from the island of Delos, and works with local fishermen and producers, including a supplier who catches octopus exclusively for the property’s kitchens. A buffet alongside an à la carte menu features a mix of local and international dishes.
