Phi Hotel Hortensis is located in Cannara, a village in the heart of the Umbrian valley, 10 minutes from Santa Maria degli Angeli and 15 minutes from Assisi. The location is quiet and at the same time convenient and functional for travel throughout the region, a step away from the main tourist and cultural destinations. The structure, recently built, and the organization of the hotel are designed to express the style of Italian hospitality and be able to better accommodate its guests. The hotel takes its name from the ancient Roman settlement of Urvinum Hortense, discovered in the early nineteenth century in the immediate vicinity of Cannara: an archaeological heritage of particular importance that also includes a precious Nilotic mosaic exhibited at the Museum City of Cannara.
