Approx. 250 m from sandy beach is located the hotel PortoBay Falesia. The town Vilamoura is around 18 km away (Armacao De Pera around 15 km, Albufeira around 8 km). It is 1 km from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For evening dancing you will find a nightclub in a distance of approx. 8 km. For mobility there is a bus stop (approx. 100 m away). Locations further away can be reached via the railway station in a distance of around 15 km. For medical treatment in emergencies there is a hospital around 8 km away. The airport (FAO) is approx. 50 km away. Another airport (LIS) is located approx. 254 km away.

In order to protect the health of the guests, the following hygiene and protective measures are taken in the hotel: Compliance of the WHO recommendations and local laws, trained and equipped staff with hygiene and protection measures, safe access with sanitary controls to suppliers and employees, hand sanitizer available in all areas, intense cleaning and disinfection protocols for all areas, luggage disinfection, protective screens at the reception, elevator occupancy control measures, restaurant space adapted to ensure social distancing, minimum 2m distance between tables at restaurants, new additional adapted outdoor dining areas, digital menus, minimum 2m between sun beds, temperature control measures for guests, clean and sanitized rooms, intensification of disinfection / cleaning protocols, 24h time between check-out and check-in as well as housekeeping staff equipped with self-protecting gear. The hotel has already been awarded a local seal of approval for extensive protective measures after appropriate testing.

Amenities:
Recently renovated in 2019, the 5-storey beach hotel has 310 rooms. It is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby, 4 lifts, an air conditioning, a safe (for a fee) as well as a parking area (where applicable, for a fee). For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. You can relax in good company in the hotel bar. WiFi is available for free. For guests dependent on a wheelchair the hotel has a barrier-free access. Laundry service is available for a fee.

Pool:
In the outdoor area of the hotel you will find 2 pools with a children´s pool. A bar at the pool offers guests refreshing beverages (open from 17:00 – 23:00).
