The Pure Life Göcek facility was originally established by the Taka family in 1930 as a modest 2-room house and farm. As the family expanded, so did the number of rooms and houses until 1975. Following this period, the family gradually relocated to the center of Göcek, and by 1983, the property was abandoned until 1993, when Tanfer Taka reopened it as a yoga camp.
Accomodation
Embrace modern bohemian charm in our uniquely designed rooms, crafted from ancient chestnut, juniper, and cedar wood sourced from demolished houses in Anatolia. This sustainable approach not only preserves these timeless materials but also adds a touch of history and character to each space.
Our rooms are designed to rejuvenate you with their distinctive features: garden terraces, round high ceilings, and the subtle scent of natural wood. Enjoy the aromatic touch of mountain thyme and lavender, harvested from our own garden to suit your preferences. The thatched roofs provide excellent natural insulation, reducing the need for air conditioning and enhancing your comfort.
Our rooms are painted with natural earth tones, sourced locally to blend harmoniously with the environment. In addition to luxurious amenities such as air conditioning, a mini bar, WC, shower, tea and coffee facilities, and a hairdryer, each room is thoughtfully equipped to meet your needs, mirroring the standards of a five-star hotel. While TVs are not included, each room can be configured with either a French bed or two single beds, and an extra bed or baby cot is available upon request.
