This 3Cstar hotel offers good value for money and a friendly ambience, the rooms are recently renovated and are both modern and cheerful in design. This hotel is located immediately outside the city walls, in front of the 'Wuerzburger Tor' (city gate).The restaurant reflects the medieval history of the hotel, with its beautiful wood paneling and carvings, murals and solid wooden furniture. Rebuilt after its partial destruction in 1945, the hotel has managed to maintain its historically famous 'inn' style. It certainly cannot be mistaken with its bright yellow exterior and red and white striped shutters. The lobby is very small, with a hatch in the wall instead of a desk. It is very atmospheric, and in a typical traditional Rothenburg style.
