General description

The SUNRISE Serano Aqua Park Resort, especially popular with honeymooners, is located approximately 50 metres from its own sandy/shingle beach. At the beach, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas free of charge. Downtown Hurghada is around 15 km away. The nearest shopping facilities are located approximately 10 km from the hotel. It is 10 km from the hotel to the nearest bars and restaurants. For evening dancing, you will find a nightclub at a distance of approximately 15 km.

Amenities

The 6-storey beach hotel has 509 rooms and is spread over one main building and one adjoining building. It is equipped with a 24h reception (check-in from 14:00, check-out until 12:00), a lobby with bar, 8 lifts, air conditioning, a safe (for free), a coiffeur, a mini market, and various other shops. For the meals, there are two restaurants (air-conditioned). In a total of 4 bars, you can relax in good company. Wi-Fi is available for free. For guests with physical disabilities, the accommodation provides a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Room cleaning is free of charge. Room service, laundry service and medical service are available for a fee.

Pool

In the outdoor area of the hotel, you will find 7 freshwater pools with a separate children´s pool. Here, there are sun loungers and sun umbrellas available for free. Refreshing beverages can be consumed directly at the pool bar.

Sport and Leisure

Sports and entertainment: Darts (for free), fitness (open from 06:00 – 22:00, where applicable, for a fee), beach volleyball and aerobics. Approx. 50 m away from the hotel water sports activities are available (partly from local providers). Wellness: Spa area, sauna, solarium, whirlpool, steam bath and massages available for a fee. Entertainment for adults: activity programme with evening shows. For the entertainment of young guests there is a children´s play area. Child supervision: mini club for children (from 4 – 12 years) and activity programme for children from 4 – 12 years (4 times a week from 10:00 – 15:00).

Note from hotel: From 19 October to 1 February 2026, the hotel will be renovating a large number of rooms across the resort. During this period, general noise disturbance will occur however, the hotel will enusre the guest distruption is kept to a minimum and will be allocated rooms away from the affected works.
