Location
The villas occupy a tranquil peninsula with direct views across Mirabello Bay towards the fishing port of Agios Nikolaos, and provide private access to the beach. The site is arranged to make the most of sea views from terraces and restaurant areas and to provide a sheltered sandy cove that has been recognised with an EU Blue Flag rating, ensuring safe, clean conditions for families and swimmers. The setting combines easy access to resort services with the sense of privacy afforded by a small, dedicated cluster of villas on the headland.
Facilities
Guests at Thalassa Villas may use the full range of resort facilities at St. Nicolas Bay, including a comprehensive spa, a fitness centre equipped with Cybex and Technogym machines, changing rooms and lockers, and a well-appointed watersports centre. The Poseidon Spa offers a selection of facial and body therapies provided by trained therapists, an indoor heated pool and relaxation area for spa guests, steam bath and saunas, specialised treatment suites such as Aphrodite’s Bath with seawater thalassotherapy features, and dedicated beauty salon services. The resort also provides family-oriented amenities, including a kids’ programme with supervised activities, a games room with consoles and table sports, complimentary baby cots, babysitting on request, and private beach service; guest services are able to arrange private dining and celebratory events around villa verandas and private pools.

With stunning sea views and a harmonious blend of contemporary design and local architecture, the eight individually designed villas embody elegance and privacy. Guests enjoy spacious living areas, a fully equipped kitchen featuring a dining table in 3 & 4-bedroom villas, ample outdoor space for sunbathing, lounging and al fresco dining, private heated pool, and a private walkway to the sea. Thalassa Villas are ideal for those in search of privacy and the freedom of a private villa experience. It’s one and two-bedroom villas are popular with couples and small families whilst the three-and four-bedrooms villas can be enjoyed by a group of friends, families and multigenerational families (up to 7 guests).
Extended in-villa services (available on request) include a private chef, spa treatments, wine tasting, cooking lessons, and butler service, providing the ultimate experience in the privacy of your own villa.
Sports & Entertainment
A broad range of sports and entertainment options is available for all ages. The resort’s watersports centre lists activities such as water skiing, windsurfing, canoeing, banana rides, jet skiing and tuition where appropriate, while private sailing and motorboat excursions are offered for half-day or full-day trips to secluded coves, with the option of on-board refreshments and barbecue events. On land, a structured entertainment programme features live orchestras and local music and dance, DJ sets at the jetty bar, cooking lessons and wine-tasting. Dining for villa guests is integrated with the resort’s multiple outlets, from the Club House terrace with its sea views to the Labyrinthos restaurant offering a varied buffet selection, and the Blue Bay venue, which serves Mediterranean and international dishes alongside pool and beach service. The Minotaure provides a more intimate dining option with a menu drawing on Asian and international cuisine and an extensive cellar selection, while the Greek Kafenion focuses on local Cretan dishes, seafood and an outdoor barbecue style of service close to the beach. Guests may also choose private dining or bespoke barbecue and party arrangements organised by the guest services team. Social bars include the Astra Bar overlooking the lagoon pool and port lights and the Bonatsa Jetty Bar at the water’s edge, both offering a selection of cocktails and beverages in settings designed for evening relaxation.
