Encircled by stunning volcanic gardens in the south of Lanzarote, the hotel has been designed to offer a traditional Canarian village vibe with its pretty courtyards, low-rise buildings and winding paths. Despite being noted for its tranquil ambiance, adults are treated to their own area of the grounds where they can soak up a whole host of exclusive perks.

Offering a Bed and Breakfast and Half Board option, sample the island’s finest flavours from the onsite a la carte, whose menu has been inspired by locally sourced dishes. Days are best spent soaking up the year-round sunshine from five outdoor pools, some heated, others for grown-ups alongside inflatable-filled children’s sections.

Elegant yet traditional rooms

You’ll instantly feel welcome with the turquoise and crème colour scheme with light oak furnishings blending into the walls. Offering a touch of tradition, you can’t help but notice the beautifully patterned tiled floors, while the bed is the main highlight with its classic styling and thin fabric draped above the headboard.

Every preference is available too with spacious family stays, fancy suites overlooking the sea and standard doubles. Mature guests can also take advantage of the property’s Club options found in the adults only section of the hotel with extra perks including access to exclusive areas, personalised check-in and check-out alongside in-room extras such as a pillow menu. Those staying in the most basic accommodation will still get to enjoy a range of homely features from air conditioning to coffee making facilities as well as a cosy bathrobe and slippers.

Dining done right

Whether you choose to make full use of the hotel’s onsite dining facilities or prefer to stick to breakfast only, guests have the flexibility to do both with two board types.

La Florida: This buffet eatery is bound to keep Half Board guests happy with glasses of Buck’s Fizz and Bellini served at breakfast alongside a range of tasty morning favourites including omelettes cooked to your preference. Lunch is just as delightful with its salad corner alongside meat and fish stations.

Yaiza: Open for lunch, tuck into traditional Canary Island dishes or enjoy a tapas feast.

Rubicón: Head here on an evening and enjoy Italian classics from tasty pastas to tiramisu for dessert.

Kazan: If you’re a lover of Japanese fare, then this dinner-only spot won’t disappoint with its oriental-inspired menu.

Fun Pub: With performances every night alongside live sports screenings, head here when you want to be entertained.

Las Coloradas Bar: Grab snacks and drinks from this poolside spot when you need to refuel under the scorching midday heat.

Club Volcan Bar: This adult only venue is only available to guests who have booked a Club room with afternoon tea being served from 3pm and complimentary drinks available between a set time.

*Please note – a la carte restaurants will incur an extra charge and a reservation will be required.

Half Board guests will receive a 20% discount if they want to visit the Japanese a la carte.

An adults only area & kids’ club

During the day there’s a list of activities calling your name from tiring games of squash to tame rounds of table tennis. Fitness addicts will enjoy mornings in the gym where they can work up a sweat on the cardio machines or bulk up with some free weight training, before retiring to the sauna for some post-workout relaxation.

Sunbathing isn’t a problem with five pools enticing you in for a dip, while children have their own area where inflatables encourage them to make as many splashes as they like. Little ones can also hit the kids’ club, which is on hand to entertain those aged between five and 12. Over at the spa, there’s an array of treatment cabins waiting to pamper you, and if you don’t fancy a massage, the hot tub alone will make any visit worthwhile. Those guests booked into a Club room, can also reap the benefits of their own grown-up space where Balinese beds surround a heated pool and waiter service ensures you won’t have to move a muscle.

Harbour vistas

Not only will guests get to relax among their stunning grounds, but being so close to Marina Rubicon, a chic harbour in Playa Blanca means they can couple their stay with some of the most amazing sunset sittings with plenty of restaurants offering front row seats. You’re also in a prime position for visiting the unspoilt Papagayo Beaches, where untouched sands sit beside calm waters.
