General description

Only a few steps from the private sandy/rocky beach is the I Resort Beach Hotel and Spa. At the beach are sun loungers and sun umbrellas free of charge. The tourist centre is only a few metres away. The town of Heraklion is around 31 km away (Agios Nikolaos around 41 km, Rethymnon around 110 km). The nearest shopping facilities are located approximately 100 m from the hotel, a supermarket can be reached in around 50 m. There are restaurants and bars within a very short distance of the hotel. For evening dancing, you will find a nightclub at a distance of approximately 300 m.

The following attractions can be reached from the hotel: Knossos Palace (approx. 25 km away), Creta Aquarium (approx. 14 km away) and Archaeological Museum (approx. 28 km away). For mobility during your holiday, there is a taxi rank (around 50 m away) and a bus stop (approx. 200 m away). For medical treatment in emergencies, there is a hospital around 30 km away. The airport (HER) is located approximately 28 km away.

Amenities

The 4-storey spa hotel consists of a main building and an adjoining building, and has 227 rooms in total. It offers its guests a reception (check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00), a lobby with bar, 4 lifts, air conditioning and a free parking area. For the meals, there are three restaurants (air-conditioned) and a snack bar. In a total of 3 bars, you can relax in good company. Wi-Fi is available for free. For guests with physical disabilities, the accommodation provides barrier-free access, a wheelchair accessible lift and a number of wheelchair accessible bathrooms. Room cleaning is free of charge. Room service, laundry/ironing service and medical service are available for a fee.

Pool

In the outdoor area of the modern hotel, you will find 2 fresh water pools with a separate children´s pool (open from April to October). Here, there are sun umbrellas and sun loungers available for free. A bar at the pool offers guests refreshing beverages (open from 10:00 – 17:30).
