Combine exotic gardens with lake-size waters and gastronomic treats at the Las Marismas de Corralejo. You’ll quickly fall head over heels for this family favourite owing to its al fresco dining, jam-packed activity programme and exciting mini club. Not to mention, thanks to its 24-hour customer service, you’ll be waited on hand and foot.

Stays at this modern spot provide easy access to Corralejo’s famed towering sand dunes and you’re just 10 minutes from its restaurant-lined strip – do we need to say more?

232 rooms

Beautifully decorated with floral finishes and wooden accessories, you can truly experience Canary Island culture right from your room. Floor-to-ceiling balcony doors ensure a jaw-dropping experience with sweeping views of your surrounding coastal landscapes. Each suite is well furnished with both a bedroom and living area allowing you to unwind in a serene ambience.

Expect a bathroom with both a tub and shower, hairdryer (allowing you to pack light), a 32-inch TV and free Wi-Fi. There’s a kitchen teeming with must-have facilities including cooking rings, a microwave and a fancy coffee making machine. Upgrade to a two-bedroom apartment if you wish to bring the whole clan along for the adventure.

Food morning, noon and evening

You won’t go hungry either with expert chefs whipping up delicious offerings throughout the day. Your apartment is great for Self Catering stays, but trust us, you’ll be lured in by the sprawling buffets of international cuisine. And once you catch All Inclusive guests going back for seconds without a penny in sight you’ll be rushing straight to reception to upgrade. Dine between 7.30am and 10.30am for breakfast where scrambled eggs and crispy bacon await, or head here at 1pm until 3pm for burgers at lunch. And when 6.30pm comes you’ll be itching to check out what theme it is tonight but be sure to indulge before it shuts at 8.30pm.

The pool bar will call your name during the hottest hours of the day with its fresh juice, fizzy pop and alcoholic refreshments. Don’t be afraid to order some light bites between meals  – after all, you’re on holiday.

All day fun

The first thing you’ll clap eyes on is its two larger-than-life pool areas with cascading waterfalls, which will have water babies diving its depths. Here, inflatables are encouraged and water-based activities are part of the entertainment programme. Head over to the 18-hole mini golf course, the hotel’s star attraction to battle it out for that hole in one. While other sports fanatics might be drawn in by the volleyball court and tennis.

When the kids aren’t at the mini club getting messy with some crafts and watching Disney movies, you’ll find them at the playground. But when dusk falls, don’t be surprised to see them up on stage at the mini disco, which is just before the evening show.

Never far from the action

Not only are you just 45 minutes from the airport, but you’re only a kilometre from the resort centre and Acua Waterpark. Leaving your days full of thrills and spills, lazy river adventures alongside bar hopping, the fun doesn’t stop. This waterfront location is home to a port, where luxury yachts float in its Atlantic waves and there’s a boat ride to Lobos Island too, where you can circle the rim of a volcano! But best of all, it’s a top surfing destination and watersport haven, in fact it’s been ranked among the best in Europe.

Its beaches have been awarded Blue Flags for their pristine conditions and luckily for you, you have one right at your base.
