When it comes to family beach days, Rhodes has everything from toddler-friendly beaches to buzzing strips of sand in the heart of the action. To help you find a spot that ticks all the boxes, we’ve chosen our favourite family-friendly beaches in Rhodes with something for everyone – read on for the top 10!

1. Lindos Beach (Megali Paralia)

Lindos is a charming hilltop village on the southeast coast of Rhodes, famous for its high-up acropolis. There are 2 beaches to choose from, but our choice goes to Megali Paralia, a large, sheltered stretch of soft sand with all the facilities you could need for a fun-filled day under the sun.

It’s easy to find sunbeds with parasols for shade, and kids and teens will love the variety of water sports on offer. Families can enjoy a chilled out afternoon on a sea kayak or pedalo, and take in the amazing views of the coastline from the water. The sand shelves gently into the ocean here, so non-swimmers can make a splash, too!
